Timothy Beadle, trumpet: B.A., music education, University of Maryland. Mr. Beadle has studied with Chris Gekker and Steve Hendrickson and has served as the president of the Collegiate Chapter of MENC (Music Educator's National Conference).

Mr. Beadle has worked at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in the outreach department, and has been instrumental in expanding membership, and bringing the MENC Instrument Petting Zoo to multiple communities and venues. Currently, Mr. Beadle teaches band at The Potomac School in McLean, Virginia. In addition to teaching full-time, he has a private instruction studio in Northern Virginia and is an active freelance musician throughout the DC metropolitan area.


DuPor Georges, trombone, brass coach, jazz coach: M.A., performance and arranging, Queens College New York; B.M., William Patterson University New Jersey. Mr. Georges has taught at Bergen Technical High School, Hackensack Public Schools, and Jersey City and Paterson Public Schools. Currently he is on the faculty of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, in DC as well as teaching Trombone at the University of District of Columbia. Mr. Georges is also an alumnus of the DC Youth Orchestra Program.

Mr. Georges has extensive performance experience nationally and internationally, with a number of bands and orchestras, including the Ray Charles Orchestra, Melton Mustafa Orchestra, Count Basie Orchestra, Illinois Jacquet Big Band, Jimmy Heath Big Band, Charles Mingus Big Band, Cab Calloway, and the Black & Blue Broadway European Tour. In addition, Mr. Georges has performed as a recording artist on Verve Records, Candid Records, and Jive Records.


Heidi Littman, french horn: M.A., University of Maryland; B.A. Horn, University of Wisconsin-Madison; additional studies, Interlochen Arts Academy. Ms. Littman has studied with Douglas Hill and Gregory Miller. She has participated in various summer music festivals including the Aspen Music Festival, the Las Vegas Music Festival, and the Madeline Island Music Camp. Ms. Littman performs regularly with the Great Noise Contemporary Chamber Music Ensemble and the Annapolis Wind Symphony. She is an active freelance musician and teacher in the greater Washington DC metropolitan area.
