Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a music background to volunteer?
Not at all. Many of our volunteer roles — like concert support, admin, and outreach — require no musical experience whatsoever.
How much time do I need to commit?
It depends on the role. Some volunteers help out at a single concert; others join us every Saturday. We’ll match you to what fits your schedule.
Is there a background check requirement?
Yes. All volunteers who interact with students are required to complete a background check before their first shift. We’ll walk you through the process.
